WhatsApp Embedded Signup
Connect your WhatsApp Business Account to Keychat in seven simple steps. Follow this guide once your login details arrive. It takes about ten minutes.
Before you begin
A few things to have in place so the signup runs start to finish without interruptions. Most of this is already sorted, so just keep your login details close.
Your Keychat login details
We email these to you before signup begins. Use them to sign in to your Keychat dashboard, and keep the email open in case you need it.
A Facebook account with admin access
You'll log in with Facebook during the Meta steps. Make sure you can access the account that manages your business.
Your business details
Business name, category, website and the phone number or display name customers should see. New assets can be created during signup if needed.
The seven steps
Each step is one screen. You'll move from your Keychat dashboard into Meta's onboarding window and back out the other side, connected.
In your Keychat dashboard
Open the Meta / Facebook connector
Sign in to Keychat with the details we sent you. Open Meta / Facebook, and under Connections click Connect WhatsApp Business Account. A Meta window opens.
💡 Choose the plain "Connect WhatsApp Business Account" option, not "+ Ads", unless we've asked you to enable ads onboarding.

Start the onboarding
Meta confirms you're connecting your account to Keychat Solutions and what you'll be able to do. Read it through, then click Continue.
ℹ️ The Session ID at the bottom is harmless. Meta uses it to track this signup.
Select business assets
Choose the assets to share
Pick your Business portfolio from the dropdown. For WhatsApp Business account, choose Create a WhatsApp Business account (or select an existing one if you have it). Then click Next.
ℹ️ Creating a new account is the usual choice for first-time setup.

Enter your business details
Your Name, Country, Website and Time zone are pre-filled. The one field to set is Category: open the dropdown and pick the option that best describes the business.
ℹ️ Country can't be changed here while verification is in progress. That's normal.

Confirm and continue
Once a Category is selected, the Next button turns blue and becomes clickable. Check the details look right, then click Next.
ℹ️ If Next is still greyed out, you haven't picked a category yet. Go back to step 4.
WhatsApp phone number
Add your display name
Choose how customers see you. Use a display name only is the simplest option. Enter your WhatsApp business display name (it should match your business name), then click Next.
ℹ️ Display names are reviewed by Meta, so follow their display-name guidelines to avoid delays.
Review & confirm
Confirm access & finish
Meta shows what Keychat will be able to access: manage your WhatsApp account, handle conversations, and log events on your behalf. Review it, then click Confirm to complete signup.
✓ This is the last screen. Once you confirm, the window closes and your account links to Keychat.
That's it, you're connected.
Your WhatsApp Business Account is now linked to Keychat. There's nothing else to do on your end right now. Here's what happens next.
