How does Keychat handle event ticket sales?
We set up your event listing and ticket types, generate digital tickets with unique QR codes, and take payments inside WhatsApp. Sales reporting is live in your dashboard. Your staff redeems tickets at the door using our phone-based scan tool.
What types of events can I sell tickets for?
Anything ticketed, jazz nights, wine tastings, supper clubs, quiz nights, paid workshops, pop-ups. There are no limits on event size or ticket count.
Do you manage the door for us?
No. Your team manages the door. We provide the tools, a phone-based QR scanner, a live attendance count, and per-ticket validation that prevents duplicates. The check-in itself is run by your staff.
Can I promote the event to people who aren't on WhatsApp with me yet?
Yes. Promote to your existing WhatsApp customer database, or import a contact list into the Keychat CRM and we'll send the campaign there too.
What does event ticketing cost?
The standard 10% per transaction, capped at R25 per order, same flat pricing as the rest of Keychat. No per-event fees and no monthly minimums.
